Fault with the cash machine meant it was trying to push my card back out but couldn’t, message onscreen said take card otherwise it will be retained, machine continually tried to give me my card back but it just didn’t have the capacity to push it out! Card was retained, my £90 was retained and I was left penniless and bank card-less at lunch time. Used a lloyds cash point at a lloyds bank in Ashington, Northumberland today to withdraw £90.

After an hour on the phone, the switching team could not confirm the date it was due to port across, so I decided to cancel The Ramsgate branch of Lloyds need to take full responsibility for the lack of customer service and failure to communicate, they even told the switching team not to text me any updates, I did not request this?! Not impressed and will close all accounts, not worth the grief 3/6 - Still not received a call from Ramsgate branch, promised within 48 hours of initial complaint! Goes to show, they don’t care about their customers at allĭisgusting bank with heartless customer service! I must admit, the lady at the call centre was very helpful and tried her best, apologising for the lack of communication from the Ramsgate branch. Employee took our current Debit Card details and said she would carry on trying with the switch, this was on May 23rd! To date (31st May) we have not heard a single response from the bank, so I decided to call them. During the attempted switch, their system came up with a number of faults, so we were told that we would have to re attend to complete, not really convenient as just spent 1hr 40min at the branch. We went through the procedure, account opened, along with an ISA which we did not really need and getting a better savings rate elsewhere. Finally the app team who still couldn’t offer any solution raised a complaint for me and once that is sorted and I have some compensation for the numerous long calls and the hassle then I will be cancelling the card and won’t use Lloyds again.īooked an appointment in a branch, because a joint account cannot be opened online, thought we lived in the 21st century, Lloyds clearly dont! We attended, to open the joint account, yet the employee did not even know my wife’s name, nor introduced herself to her. Both teams refused to let me speak to a manager saying it wasn’t necessary, the credit card team also told me raising a complaint wasn't necessary either! - I believe this to be my choice to raise a complaint and my right ?!, absolutely shocking service.

I was passed back and forth over the 2 hours no one able to help or offer a solution. The app team are telling me my telephone number isn't registered, the credit card team are telling me it is definitely showing and confirmed it via text. I was Nearly 2 hours on the phone today and no further forward, apparently the problem is I have no telephone number registered despite giving it. Applied for a Credit card that arrived fine but after nearly 3 weeks of trying to set up internet banking and/or the app and being pushed from pillar to post and given incorrect info, promises of things in the post that never arrive and no one being able to help me I’ve cut my losses and am giving up.
